Who i am
I’m Dr. Neville Chu, PT, DPT USAW Level 2 - a physical therapist with over 12 years of clinical practice working with athletes from all skill levels from international elites to weekend warriors. I’ve helped CrossFit Regionals and Games athletes, Boston Marathon qualifiers, and your average Joe who works out to feel good and stay young. Outside of the clinic I have coached numerous CrossFitters and olympic weightlifters to national level competition.
I believe we all have a need to improve our physical health everyday. Not just for ourselves, but for our loved ones. Those around us depend on us to be at our physical best. I want to help you leave a legacy you can be proud of.
What I do
I coach busy adults who don’t want to waste time and money in the traditional healthcare system.
I coach people through an injury rehab process that is empowering, time-efficient, and at a greater value than a regular clinic.
I coach athletes who need to take the next step towards their physical and performance goals - athletes who are feeling lost or plateaued in their current regimen.
Why i do it
Traditional healthcare has a way of creating two camps: ‘sick’ or ‘well.’” So, when it comes to physical therapy, the “injured” are often given treatment plans that are insufficient to create lasting change.
Patients are often given subpar exercise programs that do not promote overall physical health, offer no progression or modifications based on the patient’s daily fluctuations in symptoms, and offer no continuation solutions for once the injury is no longer an issue.
I want people dealing with injuries to realize that their goals are still within reach even when hurt.
I want them to know that their course of care is personalized and progressed based on their individual needs and daily fluctuations in symptoms.
I want them to have solutions for pursuing and accomplishing bigger goals for after rehab is complete.
